Steve Valentine has more than a decade of Public Relations, Management, and Marketing Communications experience to his credit. Over this span of time, clients have benefited from increased awareness and bottom-line focused results. The agency roster spans the areas of fashion; entertainment; hospitality (restaurants, clubs, spas, and hotels); beauty and luxury consumer products; retail, wine and spirits; professional services; celebrities/personalities; design and architecture; event planning; and a variety of other businesses and clientele. His award-winning work has either resulted in millions of media impressions or manifest a desired increase in traffic for a venue or customer usage for a service/product. Valentine's relationships with the media, locally, nationally and internationally, and connections to key geographic markets help create important multi-layering marketing campaigns.
Prior to Valentine Group, he held the Vice President position at a Venice, California-based public relations firm. He directed the travel and hospitality sphere, yet his vast experience in a variety of industries, running the gamut from foodservice and restaurants, to consumer products, entertainment, fitness and fashion, to travel, tourism and hospitality proved to be an asset for the medium sized firm. But whether it was for another agency or for the namesake public relations firm, he was consistently instrumental in orchestrating numerous campaigns that have served to deliver a personality, venue, product, or service from obscurity to respected national recognition. The portfolio has always been high profile... and successful.
Leveraging the success of the public relations division, Valentine has been able to open new doors in the areas of talent management and film/television production. Creativity, as applied to public relations campaigns, is now also focused on emerging actors, as well as, for the group's development of television, film and literary properties conceived by Valentine.
Valentine earned a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of the Women in Film Honorary Board; serves on various charity committees including Children's Environmental Health Coalition, State of California Governor's Office Media Task for the Mentoring Initiative; as well as, being a PRISM and INSIDE PR award winner.
